Ronaldinho's adventure with Brazil started on the 3rd June in Ulsan. For his first match during 17th World Cup organised by Japan and South Korea, Brazil meets Turkey . Brazil won 2 - 1 thanks to a penalty by Rivaldo during the last minute. Ronaldinho on the other hand has played for over an hour but has been replaced by Denilson. It was a poor match from Ronnie who accustomed us to better. We should say it was his first world cup match, he is forgiven.
For its second match, Brazil meets China the 8th June in Seogwipo. It was a rather easy match for la seleçao. On a trick by Ronaldinho 25 metres from the goal, Roberto Carlos scored the first goal of the meeting. About half an hour game thanks to Ronaldinho, Rivaldo doubles the score. During the 45th minute, fault on Ronaldo in the penalty area, it was Ronaldinho on a penalty who scored the 3rd brazilian goal of the meeting. Ronaldinho thus scored his first goal in World Cup et was the Man of the Match as he was the instigator of the first 3 goals.He left at halftime.
For his 3rd match which took place the 13th June in Suwon, Brazil "already" qualified hasn't played with Ronaldinho and easily won against Costa Rica 5 - 2 with namely a double by Ronaldo. Brazil thus finishes 1st of the group with 11 goals scored for only 3 boxed.

The 3rd round was Brazil against Belgium the 17th June in Kobe. Brazil wins 2 - 0. First goal was signed by Rivaldo on a beautiful pass from ... Ronaldinho. Brazil through Ronaldo doubles the score at the very end of the match.
During quarterfinal, things grow more difficult for the Latin-Americans. They play against David Beckham's England on the 21st June in Shizuoka . The meeting started badly as due to an defense error on Owen, England takes the advantage. And it is just before break that Rivaldo on a royal pass by ... Ronaldinho (who ran 40 metres with the ball through the defense) equalises for Brazil. Its during the 54th minute that Brazil takes the advantage. And who scored the second goal ? It's ... Ronaldinho, of course. And what a goal...
"EX - TRA - OR - DI - NARY". He shot a free kick 30 metres from the goal shifted to the right and surprised David Seaman. Everyone thought that Ronnie would put the ball to penalty level, in fact he surprised everybody in shooting in the opposite corner. Unfortunately, he took a red card, 4 minutes after having scored,for a fault ( who was not even worth a yellow card ) on Danny Mills. Ronaldinho has thus been deprived of World Cup semifinal, hard kick for this young star of the ball.
The semifinal saw Brazil against Turkey's surprising team on the 26th June in Saitama. Ronaldo qualified la seleçao by scoring during the 49th minute. "A Romario styled goal" will he say at the end of the meeting.

Final opposed Brazil to Germany's solid team the 30th June in Yokohama. Brazil won
2 - 0 thanks to Ronaldo's goal Brazil thus beacomes World Champion for the 5th time. Ronaldinho made a beautiful match, replaced by Juninho Paulista during 84th minute. Ronaldinho thus becomes World Champion at the age of 22. He scores 2 goals and makes 3 master passes. Very good toll for him at PSG.
