First memory : I was home, in Porto Alegre, in southern Brazil. My father,my brother and myself played fooball inside. I was small and went defying my brother with the ball…He was the one who taught me how to play football. Then, when I was seven, I joined Gremio Porto Alegre. I didn't forget a single thing ! I do have a very good memory.

Favourite players : My brother. He's my idol, I can see him whenever I want because he lives in my house. I've always wanted to look like him . He's my example. He was like a father to me and was my inspiration. He still advises me today and in different fields. Otherwise, there was Valdo ! He was Gremio's star before going to Europe, to Benfica Lisbonne, then to PSG. I've always preferred technical players, to whom I've always dedicated an admiration beyond limits. Deep down, it was the kind of football player I wanted to be.

If you hadn't bacome a football player
I've never wondered me doing something else. When I left school, my mother asked me : "What are you going to do ?" - "Hmm, play football !" - "But there are a lot of teens who want to be football players just like you want !" - "Ok...so what ?! I want to become a player." - "You are crazy my son !". I have NEVER thought of doing something else. Never.

TV : From my point of view, television goes along with PlayStation2. I play Pro Evolution Soccer, for me being the best football game.

Favourite dish : The "Churrasco" (mixed meat, grilled, along with salad and rice. Southern Brazil, from which Ronaldinho comes from, is the region where they make the best "Churrasco"). I like all kinds of meat, the moment they can be put on a barbecue. I cook it myself from time to time. I also like "Feijoada" (rice mixed with red beans).

I don't crave cars anyways. I don't have any preferences.

For me money corresponds to work. I do my best to make my family's life better and I don't focus on money. I'm not the kind of person who cares about money.

The persons you admire most : It would take more than an hour to list them all. To make it short, without trying to avoid answering, i'd say the members of my family . My relatives.

Religion :
I'm catholic but not really a practitioner. I believe in god and if ever i have the occasion, though rarely, to enter a church i do gladly.

Press : I distinguish each journalist, each interview. I don't put everyone ine the same basket, that would be a serious mistake ! In the press, like in many other fields, there are good and bad professionals. I readily, of course, accept honnest and constructive crititiscism. I notice that people often exaggerate with me . In both ways as a matter of fact. Sometimes praised, sometimes denigrated… There should be a right balance.
